Prices increase during rainy season

According to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, on July 27, retail tomato prices in the capital Delhi were Rs 77 per kg. But depending on the quality and location, prices have gone up to more than Rs 80 per kg.
Let us tell you that NCCF has given a statement regarding this that this facility will be started from 29th July 2024 and after this, control will gradually be taken to other places in the capital Delhi in the coming time.
Where to get tomatoes at low price
According to the agreement, subsidized tomatoes will be available at cheap rates in many areas including CGO Complex, CGO, Hauz Khas, Lodhi Colony, INA Market and Noida, Sansad Marg, Rohini and Gurugram.
The direct objective of this initiative of the government is to keep the prices stable and provide tomatoes to the consumers at lower prices. This will provide a lot of relief to the people. NCF has said that this will reduce the increasing burden on consumers.
