Apple Vision Pro is gradually being launched globally. The Apple Vision Pro will be available in a dozen countries and regions after its November 15 launch in the United Arab Emirates and South Korea. It's been a very slow launch for the Apple Vision Pro, with a release in the United States in February and a global rollout beginning in June. The high price and lack of specialized software and media have made it a difficult sell overall. Global expansion continues with two more countries getting the headset soon. An X post by Greg Joswiak revealed that the UAE and South Korea will be getting the Apple Vision Pro on November 15. Apple Vision Pro is coming to South Korea and UAE on November 15th! We're excited that customers from a dozen countries and regions will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of spatial computing! pic.twitter.com/gqrlLfT8XG — Greg Jozwiak (@gregjoz) October 31, 2024 Those countries join China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. Those who purchase Apple Vision Pro outside of available regions will need to change their region to access the App Store. Apple Vision Pro is Apple's initial foray into spatial computing — the company's version of mixed reality that blends AR with VR. Hopefully this will be a stepping stone for other AR products that could eventually lead to Apple Glass. Recent reports suggest that the supply chain is slowing down production of the Apple Vision Pro as inventory is stocked up. A second generation or cheaper model is not expected until 2026.
